Wow, that's startling. The final product looked very little like the original.
wow, that video was very shocking. it's sad to see that's what young ladies think real beauty is :(
Wow! Thanks for sharing that. It reminded me of a verse.
"Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised." ~ Proverbs 31:30
By the way, I love the name of your blog! And I've enjoyed visiting.

I found that video rather shocking, but what I would really like to talk about is modesty. I noticed you posted a letter a few months back on how men view women and what they wear and thought we could discuss it! I find myself in a predicament. I am a young mom and wife, my little boy is five months old. I have always struggled with the idea of modesty. Growing up in a Christian family and going to church I knew what was expected of me, however, I also enjoy fashion but because of the way the Lord created me, I feel something that might look modest on someone would look immodest on me just because of the different body types. Anyways, this morning I was rather put off because on elder of the church met with my husband to discuss modesty. I felt humilitated because first of all, I wish this was discussed with me and second of all I have tried so hard to be modest...however, I realized afer reading that letter how such little things like a bra strap showing can be a stumbling block! I'm just working through the issue and would appreciate any thoughts.
Hello, Sarah! Thank you so much for all the wonderful posts you've put on this blog! I have enjoyed reading them again and again!
I recently read a newspaper article about how some women wear so much makeup that they get really sick. It was interesting. The bad news is that it happens to a lot of women.
That's a powerful clip.
BTW, I am also a Sara Elizabeth, only I spell my Sara without the h.
I had not seen this one! Thank you for sharing. I just showed it to my two daughters (7&10) and our neighbor girl(9). I hope they'll get a jump on the truth about advertising that I had to wait until college to find out!
What an interesting video. I really enjoyed seeing what happens to beauty in our culture. Thank you, Sister.

Wow, pretty amazing what they can do with makeup and photoshop. And that's why girls don't, won't, and, in my humble opinion, shouldn't look like the models. It's sad really that that is what oh-so-many base their opionion of beauty around. A doctored up image screaming "this is beauty".

Well she looked better without them makeup; more natural.
